Its snowing outside..beautiful,fluffy,white bits of frozen water..brrrrrr but yes delightful, for the swedes, lack of fascination of it at my age is probably hardly a topic at the dinner table. However snow is totally awesome for a malaysian girl whose only encounter of snow has been in Mines Wonderland in Kuala Lumpur and the joyful experience at Mount Wellington in Hobart, tassie , Australia. Seeing it spread across the quiet streets of the Spanga suburb and the across the bits of green grass that are shyly peeking is putting lots of smiles on my face. I concetrate on drawing and making shapes with my shoe soles on the snow.( actually, its also the words sweden sucks..he he). My boyfriend keeps trying to smother my back with bits of snow that he picks off fences tops and is dissapointed at my response of not wanting to participate in the snow fight that he is initating.For the record i do attempt to get back at him and one of my snowball's travels in high speed hits his back lightly as he is making his escape. I hope to make up for it and have some real snow fight with him soon. Note: Buy a new roll of tissue for my nose that "would be" runny.

I bought two new books today...yipeee! i just realise it has been a while since ive bought any books. I am currently reading why we want you to be rich by Mr. Trump himself and Robert Kiyosaki. Its extremely inspirational, its totally awakened the "I WANNA BE FINANCIALLY INTELLEGENT OR EDUCATED " side of me . Now the next thing to do would be to quickly start reading more stuff to on how to actually start making money.

Food has been great here..in fact I am not eating healthy at ALL..lots of sugar, fast food...hmmm...in fact I got a little hyper earlier,from all the sugar from the burger king for lunch i believe and the happy feeling from the snow. ARGH I feel the extra tyres,love handles..sigh...oh well..I hope i would be motivated enough to work out often in Hobart as I usually am.

hey people did u read about the new developments on cyber laws about whether bloggers can be sued for defamation for writting untrue things about people, I think the answer is leaning towards a yes!! he he he..hurrah for law suits..!!!

My poor neglected blog...Been extremely bimbotic lately!! Dreamy...head filled with clothes and makeup and skincare....have no idea whats gotten into me!! I walk downstairs into the kitchen and I get a shock...!! In the clear plastic box that contained scrumptious scones were now yucky, brown,crabs..Hang on..I take a closer look..Err shrimps? like small crabs moving about...I get annoyed...Those bloody housemates of mine! On the counter where we place food ,is now temporarily home for this crab like things (tiny) until they become FOOD as well!!

Congratulations to Jenny from the block...:P...!!Our dear Ipoh Mali Jenny...because she has removed her braces after two years of wearing em. I am soooo happy for her because I had braces on for four blady years!! Yes.. I have fallen asleep with my mouth open at the dentist during my appointments during those years!! What can say!!! I had a busy hectic school life!!:)






Hey did I tell u guys about the time I went to the supermarket here woolworths to get flour to make home made pau( which by the way , I still haven't done so!!) and I ended up going into a clothes boutique and walking out with a 80 dollars Australian made lovely formal dress on impulse...!! Well good news!! I might get to wear the dress to the law ball this year..Most of the Malaysian law students are going this year so I reckon its going be a blast!! :)See there's a reason for EVERYTHING that happens..!! Even impulse shopping..

My boyfriend calls me in the wee hours of the morning and tells me " HEY,I've got interesting news for u,IBM gave me a penguin soft toy as a thank you gesture...People this is a sign that MEN are being recognized as sensitive creatures internationally!! Penguin soft toys ROCK!!Bariah ,err I know penguin's ur trademark but dont get all GREEN N POSSESIVE okay...Look on the bright side...

The coffee tasted bad...The Swedish biscuits thrown in the bin, the muffin that is too sweet is lying in there as well. Honestly, anyone would agree that I'm having a "bad luck with food" day. My boyfriend's theory is that I have a committed a big sin resulting in me being deprived of one the luxuries in life taste good food. What was the sin, u may ask..I woke him up when he was fast asleep..:P ,fair enough, even the law gives great importance to an individual's loss of one night's sleep, applying the law of nuisance. :)YES!!People..Every one of us can bring legal actions against ANNOYING neighbor's!!

However every grey cloud has a sliver lining ,mine today is chapati's that turned out well...first attempt as well..so that's put a smile on my face for the rest of the night.





Had a few smses from an ex housemate today from Malaysia,was overjoyed to hear from her and suddenly I realized how much I want to get away from here, quote from my SMS "WAAAAAHBOOOOHOO..I CANT WAIT TO GET AWAY FROM THIS KAMPUNG HOBART...". I miss Malaysia so much...:)..nothing like home..sweet home...!!

Do people really care about the environment? Do you believe that the environment is at our dispense? Whatever the answer to the question may be..Climate change is screaming right in our face today..it only takes the sea level to rise a few metres for a few countries to dissapear from the world map..first world country like Australia or a third world country..either is at mother earth's mercy..so what are we going to do about it? What can we do? Shift the blame to each other...Politicians shift the blame to other politicians..Scientists shifting the blame to Politicians and some doing it very discreetly indeed..." Yes, Mr. Howard..if only you had approved my patent..!"...Ive had my own time pondering on how i feel about these issues..i have tried to reason why i myself have been passive about contributing to any efforts at all in saving the environment.

I love the environment, do not get me wrong BUT i have always had other things to worry about that i care about MORE. I care about getting an education. I care about investing time in finding my own talents. I care about improving my skills in the kitchen by hunting for new recipes every now and the. I care about making my parents proud. Thats the problem i suppose with the human race and the way of life now..we often do not indulge in taking action presently as everthing seems fine..Hey..the air i breath is still fresh, i havent died from inhaling it..im living a good life...the streets are clean..no unpleasant smells except maybe from that guy over there whom reeks from ciggarate smoke..I do worry though..i do worry whats going to happen when hurricance katrina doesnt only happen in one part of the world..I worry about the overpopulation of the earth..all u people out there who want a kid..adopt one...im serious or just adopt a pet..!! The earth cannot take anymore baggage, human beings who just keep taking and taking..

Can the damage done to earth be reversed, is SHE capable of doing so? Thats another argument thats been going on...From my point of view, theres got to be a limit to everything..moderation is the KEY to have a balance in everything..if we do half as much to prevent environmental damage as much as we take from the earth..I wouldnt be typing all this right now..Its up to us PEOPLE...! Let passion for the environment grow in you for she has no mercy for those who have none for her.....

Reflections on my experiences in the kitchen has brought back many emotions. There is the happiness, the shame,dissapointment and pride. On rare occasions,pain. All of this emotions ties in with the experience of cooking. What makes a good cook? someone who never gives up and practices again and again, someone who just uses Mccain dinner packs and calls that cooking ??

I think that how good a cook a person is depends on the amount of bad experiences they have had in the kitchen..ive had many hence that makes me a good COOK! :P...my latest one involved opening a can of pink salmon with a fruit knife.sheezh..im certainly not going do very well surviving in the wild if i dont have a can opener...argh! i just discovered that i cant make CHAPATI! after all the effort of going to woolies..SHEEZH..now ive got so much of flour in my cupboard..anyone wants some? Or maybe we have a lil barter system going on here I need whole wheat flour not the plain wheat flour that i got...Anyone has some?
